Promote self-development - also at team level

ich-entwicklung

Ultimately, communicative skills are about ego development. In the past, this was primarily an issue for executives and in management, but in the future working world there must also be a certain clarity and self-assessment at team level.

Agile working and working on innovations and the new requires post-conventional thinking, because old rules don't work and new rules don't exist yet. Difficult to take, especially in large companies. Agile workers must be supported in breaking rules, they and their superiors must recognize whether the breach of rules is justifiable and in the interest of the matter, or did it happen out of selfishness (this is also laziness, arrogance, carelessness...)

Ego development according to Jane Loevinger

Almost all personal development coaching in the professional world is rightly based on this step-by-step model.

The approach assumes that the thought structures with which an individual gains an understanding of their world are built up and worked out step by step. We speak of development when these structures gradually become more differentiated and integrated.

In job interviews, situations often aim to assess the candidate’s ego development. Some applicants are aware of this, many are not.

We demand and promote transparency and self-assessment for self-development at team level. Knowledge and a realistic assessment of this are crucial for the successful, modern working world, for innovation, change and progress.
